I believe the most beautiful thing that exists on the earth is Love, the Love of God, the God kind of Love and that is God himself for in 1 John 4:8, John declared. He that loves not, does not know God; for God is love.

God sacrificed his son for us so we could have his life, so amazing.Thats why Jesus said no greater love than this that a man should lay down his life for his friends.
Love is sacrifice, Love is pure,Love is true, its way more than a feeling cause feelings change but true love is the Nature of Christ, it is the Spirit of Christ.

Love will always give hence scripture says For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. Any love relationship that doesn’t give is a lie. Hence true love will always give.

Love is faith. Love causes us to obey and to submit, For in John 14:21 scripture states “He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me”. Clearly showing us love is a faith state of mind that prompts us to obey. Love is not selfish. Love is forgiveness. Love is stronger than Death, there will be a time were death has no power but the power of love would still speak. Love is Holy. Love removes the veil from our eyes and opens our eyes to see God clearly…all these speak about God. The greatest of all is Love.

The extent to which we can show love to men depends on our relationship with God, it depends on how much of God we have inside of us. Love releases Life. The evidence of our union with God and knowledge of God is love, it’s really not totally about the power or how many miracles we perform it’s about love, its about loving our neighbour.

There is no fear in love, cause perfect love casts out all fear. Love speaks the truth, our desire should be to love the Lord and express it to the world, through his power that flows through us, for every time Jesus performed a miracle, he was moved with compassion, he was moved by the love of God, and men were healed and followed Christ afterwards.

These days there are many miracles without the Love of God, so people are healed and some go back to their normal way of life, the Love of God draws men to follow Christ. Scripture says we should seek first the kingdom of God, the kingdom of God is the kingdom of love. We musk seek Love first then all other things will be added unto us. Our faith works by Love and without faith we cannot please God. Love is the essence of our Christian life.

“And now abides faith, hope, Love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

Keep blessing your world……

1 Peter 2:17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

Life is governed by laws and principles, men have spent time to understand physical and natural laws but neglected spiritual principles and laws. One of the most significant and important spiritual laws is that of honour.

The word “honour,” in its original idea, signifies respect or praise. It is that tribute of good opinion, which attends a character thought to be commendable. It is the external expression of the respect which is conceived to be due. Honor means to “weigh heavily,” to highly esteem and respect the opinion or office of another.

It has of recent become worrying the amount of disregard people have for others. Disregard for their peers, disregard for friends, disregard for their elders, disregard for their younger ones, disregard for wives, disregard for husbands and especially disregard for parents and spiritual heads.

“Your future is determined by who you choose to honor, and if you fail in your life, it will be because of a person you have chosen to dishonor.”

The spirit of God knew well hence he inspired through peter to write the scripture above. Honour is the seed for access. You never find access to a man you don’t honour. Some people are careless about how they talk to people, hence have missed out of a blessing God has put in that person’s custody for them.

Because of the severity of this principle God ensured it was one of the very first principles a child learns in the family.

Exodus 5:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

Now this is the first law that had nothing to do with God but rather man’s interaction with man. In the ten commandments, the first four were reflective of mans relationship with God. So God was so concerned that he made sure first after him, was honour. That as a child you grow up knowing and learning honour.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

God knew that if we grew up learning honour in life it will forever be a part of us. Now God didn’t stop at saying honour for honours sake but rather he added a promise to it. “that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”

Never take men for granted, especially those that God has placed ahead of you. Never see a grace you are lacking and allow it pass you without honouring it. More grace.

Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. 16 For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

In life it’s always constant for life to present you different opportunities. You decide what to do with these opportunities. Your decision makes all the difference. I have come to know and experience the sad reality that most times people chose wrongly. They say they want the best for their lives but intentionally refuse to put in the work required for the life they say they want.

It’s important that you chose wisely in life. In Deuteronomy Moses speaking to Israel said “See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction.” This was God speaking through Moses. Why did God say this? God said this, to make them aware of the spiritual principles responsible for their prosperity, and then also what would lead them to destruction.

What God was saying was their choices would affect their actions, and their actions would ultimately decide their futures, certain actions would mean death and destruction but whilest the other set of actions would ensure they have life and prosperity. Many times people try to rationalize right and wrong. The moment you begin to think right and wrong by the human brain you would only end up working in the flesh.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

This scripture points out one of the major problems the world faces today. They try to reason God with man’s wisdom, they Judge spiritual principles with human wisdom hence they live life below God’s best for them.

No matter how much you want your life to change for the better, without taking divinely given instructions serious and actually doing them your life will never change, the prosperity God promised you will never come. Until you begin to consciously do what God instructs in scripture and instructions he gives you personally.

The choice to choose life and prosperity, means you decide to do God’s will for your life on earth, because your prosperity in life is tied to God’s will for your life.

Don’t waste your life, time is precious, get to doing that thing God said. More Grace

Genesis 13:14 The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had left him, “Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are standing, northward and southward and eastward and westward; 15 for all the land which you see I will give to you and to your descendants forever.

It’s impossible for a man to become what he has no vision for. Prior to the departure of Lot, scripture wad clear that Lot chose the party of the land which looked more prosperous and left the unproductive land to Abraham.

Reading verse 14 and 15 above the instructions God gave Abraham. We see a pattern, a spiritual principle. You see first then you posses. It’s consistent with scripture that whenever God wants to do something or make something happen, he first inspires a vision in your spirit, so you can see it. Once you see it, and relentlessly maintain your sight of that vision by faith you create the spiritual condition to make that reality happen.

Now that’s why we have been given scripture, it’s a tool to help develop our spiritual sight, to see with the eyes of God. Because of its importance The Apostle Paul prayed constantly for the church to this regard.

Ephesians 1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

Paul knew how important this was hence it was a constant part of his prayers. He knew we could never reach our best in God without the ability of our spirit sight.

We are spiritual beign living in Mortal bodies hence the spiritual supersedes the natural. If you are to make an enduring difference start from the Spiritual realm. We all know how the story of Lot ended, he walked by what he saw physically and ended up running from Sodom with only the clothes on his body even lost his wife in the process.

God also had to apply this principle to bring the earth to be, God saw that it was needful to recreate the earth when I was without form and void hence his spirit hovered above the face of the deep. This period the Spirit used in hovering and contemplating over the earth it became evident when God began to speak, God was speaking out of what he saw in his spirit and brought it out as a physical reality now that’s exactly how we were created also, we see, we take possession of it, the we speak it till it becomes real and tangible.

Spiritual sight is very important. It’s is fundamental. See where God is taking you to. Believe it confess it. And it will become your reality. Remain a blessing.

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

It’s common knowledge that we need to eat food daily for the proper functioning of our bodies. Some people even eat more than three times a day. Jesus when teaching the disciples to pray even made reference to the need for God to provide our daily bread.

People give rapt attention to the nutritious needs of their bodies but fail to understand that this bodies are only but temporal. Once your time on earth is done you can’t take your body along with you to the after life, it’s your spirit that will have to live for eternity. This said it will make sense, if one would then give his spirit man more attention and feed it right.

You need the word of God in your spirit to be effective as a believer, you need the word of God to sustain your Spirit man. So if we eat food three times a day, it won’t be too much to receive atleast once a day a word from God. We live in a world were there are many voices, voice of men, politics, Spirits so what you hear on a daily basis moulds your spirit.

The primary place to receive a word from God, is in the Bible. Make a culture of reading scriptures daily. But now staying on scripture alone is elementary, you also need a customized word from God in your spirit, called the inner witness. The voice of the Spirit grows stronger when you make prayer your life style. So pray always. The Bible might not instruct you on where you should go looking for a Job, but the inner witness will. And the instructions from the Spirit of God never contradicts the word of God.

Faith and fear come the same way by hearing and by exposure to a kind of knowledge. So no wonder people are consumed by fear. If it’s God speaking there is no way you live life out of fear

Deuteronomy 28:13 Amplified Bible (AMP)
13 The Lord will make you the head (leader) and not the tail (follower); and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen and pay attention to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I am commanding you today, to observe them carefully”

A lot of times I would hear people quote the first part of this scripture. God will make you the head and not the tail. But growing up in faith, I understood it was not entirely up to God, to make us the head, there were conditions attached to us being the head.

Immediately after the promise was the condition to bring that promise to life. “if you listen and pay attention to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I am commanding you today, to observe them carefully“…

God has committed himself to make us big, to ensure we rule, but we ought also to commit ourselves to listen and do. It is that simple. The reason why many are lagging behind is purely because they refuse to listen, or listen and don’t act on what they have heard from God. They refuse to do what the word of God says. I have said it time and time again, any person that doesn’t increase or grow simply means their life is not in agreement with Scripture, no matter how small you start if God is in it, you will consistently grow big and bigger. The Bible says the light of the righteous shines brighter and brighter, meaning it increases in intensity and brightness, having more and more influence and reach. That’s how you ought to be, that should be the testimony of your life.

It has never and will never be all and only up to God. Rather its a partnership between you and the word of God. Your doing is essential. Some believers want to use favor and grace as an excuse for mediocrity, now that’s plain and outrightly wrong. The Bible says whatsoever your hand finds to do, do it with the entirety of your heart. And the Bible is also emphatic about being diligent.

Refuse the lie that you were called to live an average life, God’s intention is for you to be up and above, far above average. Cause the Holy Spirit is a spirit of Excellence….

Ephesians 6: 10. In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. 11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. (Amplified)

Theres a mindset delivered to the believer, and it’s not a failure mentality. In short it’s not a winning mentality but rather a victorious one, meaning we are not trying to win a victory but rather have already won the victory and enforcing that same victory in Christ.

The verse above makes us understand that derive our strength and ability from God, who won the victory for us and made us partakers with Him in that Victory. So God didn’t just win with he ensured he equipped us with that power.

Now here is one of the ways the enemy tries to outwit the believer by selling false notions making us believe that we are yet to attain maturity to confront to stand against him. The only thing the they lack is knowledge. The right kind of knowledge.

Even when Paul said we should put on the full armor, the weapons of the enemy were strategies, schemes and deceit. So the only thing the enemy has working for him is to get you believe a lie. The primary plane for confrontation is your mind. So it’s essential for us to be renewed in the mind of our spirit.

Know you have already won, know that you have eternity and your salvation is sure, know that your faith in Jesus is working and productive, know that the only way to salvation is Jesus. Know that you have righteousness as a nature. Know that the word of God is your mouth is as effective as it is in God’s mouth sharper than any two edged sword piercing to the assunder of soul and spirit, and must accomplish whatever you sent to do. Know that truth is in your nature as deceit and lie is the nature of the Devil.

All the schemes and strategies of the enemy is to get you to doubt one of those realities concerning you. No matter what the enemy does know you are one with God Far above principalities and powers. Know this till every cell in your body knows this as a fact.

You are victorious in Christ Jesus.

Habakkuk 2:1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Many people want direction and to hear God speak to them but very few actually enjoy this experience, many think it’s hard for that to happen which is contrary to what God said in scripture.

27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 10:27″

God is ever ready to speak to us, his intention is to see we recieve from him daily and we see an expression of that desire when Jesus taught the disciples to pray saying ” Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.” Matthew 6:11-12

For Jesus every word which came out of the mouth of God was bread. So we ought daily to receive a word customized for that day. But then there’s a pattern to hearing God’s voice and Habakkuk just told us, there a place you need to be to hear the voice of God.

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me”

You need to put yourself in that position and be expectant, wait to hear what he has to say. That place of watching is the place of Prayer and while in prayer you are consistently watching to hear what God would say to you. Prayer here doesn’t refer to requesting or seeking for a need to be met but a conscious effort to engage in a discussion with God.

It is in the place where God is compelled to respond to you. It is here were the vision is been revealed to you precept upon precept. But then this not where it ends. Alot of men have received instructions from God but they didn’t act on it. What make the difference is your acting on it,

“Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”

Write the vision down make it plain, ink down what God tells you, watch it meditate it again and again until it becomes written in your heart that the moment you interact with men they know exactly where you have been and who you have been with.

Until you see it, you will never be it, and to see the right thing you as a matter of necessity need to stay in the place of Prayer. And once you see, the vision Engrave it on the Tablets of your heart by constantly meditating on it….

Stay blessed as God brings you higher and deeper….

So many have walked through life looking for meaning, looking for purpose, looking for what will fill that void. And in their wisdom came up with alternatives, to fill this void, and even created religion for this purpose. How tragic it will be for one to go through an entire lifetime chasing something be it religion, influence, wealth or ambition only to find out it was all useless.

Today i will like us consider the reason God placed this void in the heart of man. Why does man have a longing, wanting and a desire for more.

Considering Ecclesiastes 3:11 He (God) has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end…

Eternity in the human heart here points to the insatiability of the human heart, the heart of man can take in everything that created, and God intentionally created an abundance of beauty that will speak to the heart of man but essentially never satisfy.

Even growing up naturally has taught us that we desired many basic things only to get them and then realize they weren’t all we thought we ever needed.

The only one who fills all eternity is God, which is what he placed in the heart of man, God alone qualifies to bring satisfaction to man. The very name omnipresent mean being every were, the ability to totally fill leaving no space.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

This scripture brings more light, showing us only righteousness can fill, and digging more into scripture we understand the name Jehovah-Tsidkenu translates The Lord our righteousness. Implying righteousness is God, from Matthew 5:6 it shows clearly righteousness was implied as an external not internal, just as food is something external you eat to abate hunger, so it has nothing to do with self.

Delving deeper even as a matured believer hunger for greater depth of glory is a very natural indicator of divine life, its simply a call to experience a higher realm of Gods fullness. Sometimes it takes a while for the pangs of hunger to bite hard, some people begin to feel as if they have left the presence, its not so, it’s just growth, at this point God needs you to press more into him, cause your capacity has increased, so what would naturally satisfies is no longer satisfactory.

Scripture says as we behold a level of glory we are transformed into that level of glory, so if you refuse to go higher, that level you are stops blessing you cause you are already all that level of glory can give you hence the need to press for more

This simple truth has caused many to get tired and bored of certain Christian assemblies because it seemed what used to be s blessing has stopped being a blessing, it has also affected relationships were certain people begin to discontent because the level of glory that attracted has not grown since then, I’ve observed this from relationships between married people, to mentors and mentee’s even to pastors and members.

The absence of spiritual hunger signifies something is wrong, either death or a serious disorder that will eventually lead to death.

The bible says “I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Proverbs 8:17.

Remain a blessing…….

Its a big error for a Christian to have a single doubt about his conviction as a believer. We are not supposed to hope that there is a God, we are not supposed to hope that heaven is real nor baseless believe that Christ came and died and actually resurrected, but rather have a deep seated and concrete knowing of the reality of this truths based on spiritual evidence given to you as a Christian.

There is something responsible for the confidence we see displayed by out patriarchs  in scripture. Think about it what made men at the face of eminent death refused to change their minds, many think that those martyred had no hope or help, but am of the believe that they actually refused Gods saving but chose to suffer even to death. For Bible clearly stated in Hebrews 11:35 Speaking about those who worked their faith stated “And others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection”. Meaning they were actually offered deliverance but refused to accept it but chose to die.

There is a frame of mind called the mind of Christ. Christ knew with every assurance that God was his father in that he had personal evidence backing his claim, I say “personal evidence” cause such evidence is more important to you not for you to give proof to others. And we know its this same mind that we ought to have, meaning the Mind of Christ.

So what is it that fuels the confidence of a believer? What makes you really know your stand?
I believe it is the presence of a spiritual reality, the proof of the Divine, for everyone in the Old testament that was testified to be in the faith, there had been consistent manifestations of the Spiritual in their lives that crystallized confidence in their walk with God, from Abraham that spoke with God as a man spoke with a Man, Jacobs encounter with God when he wrestled with God, to Moses with the event of the burning bush, and many more such examples scattered in scripture. Moving to the new testament the next time we saw such display of confidence and audacity was after the descending of the Holy Spirit on the disciples on Pentecost. Peter was suddenly made bold not long after denying Christ in front of young girl, preached a crowd of over 3000 to believing Christ. Why? Because he. Peter now had spiritual evidence of the reality of what he merely heard from Jesus. It was no longer a story but a reality.

Acts 1:8 says but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth. Pointing to the fact the Holy Spirit and the evidence of Spiritual power he bestows in the believer works on building the confidence of the believer.

Now this has been consistent in the Word. That for any man who in faith seek God would find him. So the Bible says in Hebrews “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”, meaning for God at a certain point in your Journey of Faith would reveal himself to you, that’s the reward of seeking God in Faith. And finding God here doesn’t imply some abstract assertion but a real encounter with God, like Moses and the burning bush.

The starting point for every Christian is his encounter with the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:15-16 “For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God”. Our first witness is the Holy Spirit but it doesn’t stop at a heart witness, its just the beginning to opening up the believer to more intense and detailed encounters that will fuel an unshakable conviction and confidence in God. I would have loved to go deeper and speak about those who were even caught up into Heaven and many such encounters that Paul and John the beloved had but I pray God gives me grace to speak on it some other time.

More grace….
